We often imagine the unknown as an empty space waiting for us to give it shape.
That can make whatever comes next feel like a personal responsibility. We believe we must prepare thoroughly, make the right decisions, and anticipate every possibility in order to create the future well.
But if what comes next were ours alone to create, would it truly be unknown?
The unknown exists because we are not its only contributors.
Life brings circumstances we could not have anticipated. Other people arrive with their own perspectives, desires, limitations, and possibilities. Our bodies, emotions, environments, and the collective all participate in shaping what emerges.
We bring something too.
What comes next is born through the meeting.
From this perspective, the unknown is not an absence of information we should already possess. It is something that cannot be known before all its participants have met within the experience.
The question therefore changes.
Instead of asking, How can I prepare enough to get this right?, we can begin asking, What is honestly available from me, and how am I willing to meet what arrives?
Into the Unknown invites us to release the belief that we must fully understand, heal, improve, or complete ourselves before entering life. It reminds us that experience does not wait for understanding. Understanding arises through what we are willing to live.
The transmission gives words to this shift and reveals it as the posture towards which all the previous teachings have been leading us.
It asks more questions than it answers, leaving us to pause and reflect on how we have made the Commander identity our own.
What will your answers be?
Receive the Experience
Listen to the Transmission
This transmission speaks to the willingness to enter life before you fully understand, heal, or prepare yourself for what comes next.
It is not guidance about how to master the unknown, but a reminder that the unknown becomes known through the way you meet it.
It’s an invitation to participate rather than continually prepare.
Relax into the Breathing Experience
This breathing experience brings the unknown into the body, one breath at a time.
Through breath, sensation, and awareness, you remember that being a Commander is not about controlling what comes next, but meeting it as the human you are.
There is nothing to prepare for—only curiosity about what will unfold.
The Living Transmission
Seeing The Next Moment as Unknown
This transmission seems to expand on the choice presented at the beginning of this year: the choice between continuity and transformation.
There appears to be a relationship between accepting the next moment as unknown and choosing transformation.
If continuity keeps us within the movement of what is already known, transformation asks us to remain available to something we could not have produced or predicted alone.
It means allowing life, other people, our environment, and the moment itself to contribute information that changes what becomes possible next.
Are you open to being surprised by the next moment?
